The city of Bang Saen became the venue for one of the key events in medical education — the 3rd Anatomy Contest, organized as part of the 47th International Conference of the Anatomy Association of Thailand. The event brought together 65 teams of medical students from leading universities across the country, all striving to demonstrate their deep knowledge of anatomy, develop scientific skills, and strengthen the spirit of professional collaboration.
The Contest became an integral part of the Anatomy Association of Thailand annual conference program. This decision highlights the importance of competitive formats in nurturing young talent and promoting medical science. The organizers expressed gratitude to the Association for providing the opportunity to host this large-scale event, which has already become a landmark occasion for the student community.
The Anatomy Contest was conducted in three stages, each designed to identify the best experts in anatomy. In the first round, participants solved tasks developed using the anatomy complex "Pirogov" — an innovative tool widely used in modern medical education. This stage tested the theoretical knowledge of the students. In the second round, teams competed in a quiz-style format, where quick thinking was as important as the accuracy of answers. The final stage presented participants with the most challenging task — analyzing a medical case. Students worked at the interactive dissectional table "Pirogov", preparing presentations of their findings. This stage became a true test of professionalism, creativity, and the ability to structure information.
Each team, regardless of the final result, demonstrated an exceptional level of preparation, passion for knowledge, and respect for the science of anatomy.
